So Addicted to "Richard Hennessy"

When you think of cognac one name comes to mind, Hennessy. You can go to any fine drinking establishment and order Hennessy & coke, ginger ale, cranberry, orange juice and even Hypnotiq (AKA Incredible Hulk). But here at SA2F we don’t do ordinary, we are extraordinary. We don’t believe in doing things that  average people do, we have high standards, and we demand the same standards when consuming our favorite libations.

Normally when out and about we like to drink Hennessy Privilege, which is an excellent "top shelf drink". But on very special occasions we treat ourselves to the finest cognac know to man  “Richard Hennessy”. I have been fortunate in my life to have tasted this exquisite cognac and I must say I have been chasing that euphoric high ever since. A glass of Richard Hennesy at an “upscale establishment” will run you about $100-$200(Checks wallet to look at funds) and that is only if the fine establish that you’re attending even has this bottle on their shelf (if they did It would be way at the top of the shelf, with Johnny Walker Blue Label). A bottle of Richard Hennessy Cognac 750 ML will run you about $3,599.99 with a Bacarrat Crystal version priced at a lower $1,760.87 (That’s still a pretty piece of change). Nevertheless if you are fortunate to purchase a bottle this fine cognac, feel privileged, very privileged.

History of Richard Hennessy:
Richard Hennessy is named after former mercenary Richard Hennessy, an Irish aristo who founded his Cognac house in 1765 on land granted by a grateful Louis XV of France. This Cognac draws on some two hundred years of knowledge, talent, expertise and passion. This dynastic tradition of selecting, ageing and blending “eaux-de-vie” is without equal in cognac

Sexy Thai in the West Village

So the weather is finally breaking, leaves are sprouting on the trees, and the anticipation of spring is starting to swell.

Then you realize it’s time to get out, and mingle.

If you like Thai food, and you want a sexy spot to eat, and socialize with beautiful urbanites we got you! SA2F presents: “Betel a sleek little upscale Thai street-food joint, now opened in time for your spring awakening in the West Village.

Walking into the unmarked door of Betel, you’ll quickly realize the Aussie owners have consulted the courtship oracle- the front room is decked in dark wood, bathed in candlelight and set up with dark corners (not to mention a small back lounge) for getting your mack on.

You’ll want to opt out of a private table (trust me) and take a seat at the long communal table that runs the length of the main room. (Designed to be 18 inches for more intimate conversation). With a great menu, and citrusy whiskey drinks, this is a great look for the young urban professional. When spring has finally sprung they’ll unleash a private back patio and front sidewalk section for your outdoor needs.

He's Just Not That...Um Into...You

Ladies, have you ever met a man and everything about him seemed right? From head to toe the man seems to exemplify everything you have ever wanted in a man and them some. He seems to honor you and take are of your body like no one ever has before, and pays special attention to  places others have neglected. The passion and the chemistry are off the charts and there is a heightened anticipation as to what the big moment will feel like. The moment comes and you are thinking about everything you will feel until you look up at him and realize that you don't feel anything. He is putting in work but while his engine is revving  you are unsure if the key is in the ignition. You may even find yourself thinking "Is it in?" Do not panic!!!

To be honest, your man is one of many that are not particularly blessed in that region. It does not have to be a deal breaker. It simply requires some adjustments and if he is worth it, then you will appreciate these helpful tips from Askmen.com

Prior to Penetration

Focus on foreplay

Foreplay should include anything and everything your woman enjoys. Kissing and caressing are always appreciated, but you can and need to try other things to get the blood flowing. Toss in some sexy pillow talk to start, and be sure to have her favorite sex toys on hand. If she’s a bit kinky, you may want to try some sensual biting or even a bit of a spanking. The key here is to lavish her with the kind of attention you know she responds well to; you want to get her so hot that she can’t help begging for sex.

Stimulate the clitoris-there really is no better way to get her hot Whether you do this via oral sex or manual stimulation, make sure she climaxes at least once before you move on to penetration; this will help alleviate any performance anxiety you might experience once you’re ready to try the following small penis sex positions.

The Positions

The doggie

When performed at the correct angle, the doggie can make even the smallest penis feel quite large. You’ll want her positioned in such a way that she’s able to comfortably place her head and shoulders on the pillow, while having her bottom raised in the air. To help create the most effective angle, her back should be arched and her thighs should be drawn together. Not only is this the easiest small penis sex position on our list, but it’s also one of the most popular.

Bite-sized tip: Lean forward during penetration, maintaining as much physical contact as you can comfortably manage; this will keep things intimate, enabling her to reach her sexual peak as quickly as possible.

The snake

For this small penis sex position, you’ll want your woman lying flat on her belly with her legs closed. For the sake of ease and comfort, slip a pillow beneath her hips until her bottom arches upward. Keeping your knees bent, straddle her hips while maintaining an upright position and place your genitals just behind her bottom. Gently spread her thighs just enough to allow penetration and slide your way in. Take care to keep your weight off her body during intercourse; if you feel the need to brace yourself against something, bend forward until you’re able to touch the bed -- it won’t detract much from the position.

Bite-sized tip: If you really want a tight fit, hold her thighs together as you penetrate her. This is also an excellent position from which to administer a sexy spanking.

The rabbit ears

Lay your woman down on her back, spread her thighs and draw her legs up until her knees are close to her ears. Slip a pillow under her bottom, as this will place her vagina at an angle better suited for this small penis sex position. When you penetrate her, it will feel as though you’re filling her vagina completely. Once sex starts to get wild, however, it can be difficult for a woman to hold her legs in that position. We suggest using your own arms to hold her knees in place; simply place either arm in the crook of her knee before you brace your hands on the bed.

Bite-sized tip: This is an excellent position for her to masturbate in. You may want to encourage her to slip a hand between your bodies to stimulate her clitoris while you’re rocking her world from inside.

The V-formation

With your woman lying flat on her back, move between her thighs and enter her as you normally would from a kneeling position. Next, raise her legs and grasp either one around the ankle; you’re going to elevate her legs entirely and then spread them apart until they form a “V.” You’ll be able to thrust quite deeply from this small penis sex position, so you may want to gain leverage by bracing your palms against the wall or a headboard. To do this without changing the position, simply drape her legs over your shoulders.

Bite-sized tip: This position will give you an excellent opportunity to tease her clitoris. Free one of your hands up by resting one of her legs on your shoulder, and stimulate her clit until she orgasms.

We know that this is a sensitive subject but it seems like the men at Askmen.com have it covered. Every man cannot be "big" but every man can offer pleasure in their own way. Here's to happy trying!

Things We Miss--90's Male Groups Pt. 1

It's crazy how music has completely changed in the past 10-15 years. It is actually a bit depressing that we don't really have the classic music that used to and still does get a good party started.  We used to have groups that made some serious baby making music. They were groups that inspired crushes in grown women.  Well at SA2F we miss them dearly, so today we dedicate our "Things We Miss" to some of the 90's groups that still stay in rotation on our Ipods.

JODECI-K-Ci, JoJo, Dalvin and Devante came on the scene in 1990 and dominated the game almost instantly with their New Jack Swing style. For a while it seemed  like they couldn't make a bad song and then just as suddenly as they came on to the scene, they were gone. Admist rumors of  in-fighting and drug abuse came the collapse of one of the most influential  R&B groups of the 90's.  But we still jam on songs like "Come and Talk To Me," "Freakin' You," "Stay," "Forever My Lady," and "Feenin" just to name a few.

DRU HILL-If ever there was a successor to the Jodeci-era, it was Dru Hill. Jazz, Sisqo, Nokio and Woody came out of Baltimore swinging with crazy four part harmonies that other groups were trying to match but never quite could. They were unstoppable with innovative videos and songs that made you want to fall in love and make some babies. Then came the addition of Scola, Woody left to sing gospel, Sisqo has a successful solo run and now there is Tao and honestly we are still wishing for their early days. We keep "Beauty", In My Bed," "5 Steps" and "These Are The Times" in rotation

SHAI - formed at Howard University in Washington D.C. Three of the four members, Marc Gay, Carl Martin, and Darnell Van Rensalier, belonged to the same fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, and along with good friend, Garfield A. Bright decided to take a chance at turning their hobby of singing into a career.Their biggest hit "If I Ever Fall In Love" reached #2 on the charts and sent ladies and guy groups everywhere into a frenzy. A more mellowed out R&B the group quietly faded away, though they still do shows now.

There are definitely more to come, so stay tuned, we are just getting started!!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY MARCH 4 2010

"Victory becomes, to some degree, a state of mind. Knowing ourselves superior to the anxieties, troubles, and worries which obsess us, we are superior to them."

Can you hear me now?

At SA2F it's all about having the best of everything. So you know when we saw these hot new headphones we had to put our readers on. If you ride the train or bus, or even if you are frequent flyer (like myself) you are equipped with your IPod/MP3 player and a dope pair of headphones. It's all about having that concert HD sound right? If you answered yes then these are the headphones for you. Introducing the Sennheiser HD800. These headphones break new technological ground in several ways. Consider their 2.2-inch transducer—the largest among all dynamic headphones—which enables a staunch low-end response without sacrificing the high frequencies, or their enormous frequency response: 6 to 51,000 Hz. In the process of developing the HD800, Sennheiser engineers actually patented several of their creations, among them an innovative ring-shaped driver with minimal surface area.

This shape reduces undesired resonances that can result in high-register distortion. The acousticians also devised an unusual, angled ear cup that transmits sound into the ear canal as naturally as possible. These innovations, and others, deliver in a big way. The HD800 produces sound so crisp that recording imperfections become readily audible: the soft release of a flautist’s breath, the scratch of a bow along a violin string. Background noise never sounded so good. To find out more about the Sennheiser 800 click here

TIPS TO NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL SKIN

We all want to look good. And looking good starts with the very basics-your skin. Believe it or not  what you eat has just as much of an effect if not more than the products that you use on your face, so we decided to go to Blackdoctor.org to find out how you can eat your way to and maintain healthy skin:

Food:
  • Eat fruits and vegetables that contain vitamin A, C and E. They help with blocking pollutants from penetrating the skin.
  • Carrots and cabbage are rich in Vitamin A helps with dryness
  • Spinach, raw nuts, and seeds have Vitamin E keeps the skin smooth
  • Oranges and lemons contain Vitamin C, which keeps the skin firm, unlined and youthful.
  • Seafood and turkey is loaded with Zinc, which helps maintain collagen and elastic fibers to give skin its firmness, helping to prevent sagging and wrinkles.
  • Water is essential to maintaining your skin’s elasticity and suppleness.

OK, so now that you know what to eat to get your healthy skin, now you need to know how to maintain it. Here is what Blackdoctors.org reccommends:

STEAM-try doing this right before bed. That was you can get all the dirt and the grime of the day off of your face.  This is easy just soak a cotton washcloth with warm water, wring lightly and gently place on your entire face. Steam your face for two minutes.

CLEANSE-With your pores open, next splash warm water on your face and neck. Using an all-natural cleanser (always try to use a cleanser specially formulated for cleansing the face), massage onto your wet face with a soft complexion brush, or your fingertips, in a circular motion for about 40 seconds, including your neck area. Be careful to avoid the skin around your eyes. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water.

TONE Dampen cotton ball with toner and gently wipe your entire face and neck area. This lifts away any residue that you might have missed, plus closes your pores, preparing your skin for moisturizing. Note: Always use Alcohol-free toners.

MOISTURIZE In an upward, circular motion, apply a small amount of your favorite moisturizer to your face and neck areas. Moisturizers work to condition, moisten and protect your complexion.

EXFOLIATE (Once a week) Moisten your face with water.Use exfoliating gloves or a natural scrubbing brush designed for the face.
Rub your face in circular motions. Avoid scrubbing under the eyes. Rinse thoroughly with tepid water. Apply a moisturizer containing alpha or beta hydroxy acids. These acids will continue the exfoliating process, because acids cause additional dead skin cells to slough off.

Now go get your glow on!

SA2F Presents "The Artista Lauren Luna"

Here at SA2F we are in constant pursuit of all things fresh. So believe me if it's on our site then its "Fresh". (In Diddy's voice as we proceed to give you what you need) , I now present to you the art of Lauren Luna:

At an early age, Lauren knew what she wanted to be when she grew up: a famous artist! Unlike other young adults whose childhood aspirations usually change, Luna’s desire to be an artist remained.

Immediately after high school Luna went directly to college in pursuit of her dream. While studying at a college in the state of Ohio, Luna learned that there was a variety of opportunities for promising artists in New York City. Attaining this information made Luna feel like she was one step closer to obtaining her dream and it created a passion in her that led her to travel to New York City twice a year and eventually move to the ‘Big City’ where she volunteered as a Gallery Assistant in the Cinque Gallery.

Living on the East Coast taught Luna many lessons that she still calls on when in tough situations. However, it is her art that she uses as an expression of freedom and is her way of sharing her joy and creativity with the world.

Lauren is a talented artist who is taking the world of custom shoe designs by storm. She has designed exclusive kicks for the likes of:  DJ Tony Touch, LL Cool J, Raekwon & Noreaga. Placing her at the top of her class when it comes to custom kicks & apparel.

(DJ Tony Touch Custom kicks)

(LL Cool J Custom Kicks)

(Noreaga "Newport" Custom Kicks)  inspired by Noreaga's love of Newport Cigarettes

(Raekwon's Custom Kicks)

Not only does Lauren have the sneaker game on lock, she also is raising the bar in custom shoe designs for woman. Her latest line "The Se7en Deadly Sins" will feature her own interpretation of the seven deadly sins: wrath, greed, sloth, envy, gluttony, pride & lust. This October , they will materialize in the Se7en Deadly Sins Fashion show.  (which SA2F will be covering) This line is sure to have woman's shoe enthusiast going crazy, and craving for more. Lauren is truly a visionary when it comes to fusing creativity, and her unique since of style to create a shoe line that is ahead of its time.

THROWBACK VIDEO OF THE DAY-MOS DEF "MS. FAT BOOTY" (3/3/10)

You get the Keys to the Lexus....

Finally Lexus has released photos of the closely guarded LFA Supercar priced at $415,000. After a decade-long development process, this fearsome front-engine super car aims to redefine a brand that has come to be known—and lauded—for building cars that waft their occupants along in cocooned silence. This beautifully sculpted car sports fine creases and a array of vents that makes it's wedge shape  a study in aerodynamic efficiency.  Sporting a Yamaha fulled 4.8-liter V-10 engine with a 9,000-rpm redline provides the motivation, belting out 552 horsepower and 354 foot-pounds of torque. That prodigious oomph reaches the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential transmission—rear-mounted to help the car achieve its target 48/52-percent fore/aft weight distribution. The combination enables the 3,263-pound LFA to rush to 60 mph in a blistering 3.6 seconds and press onward to 202 mph. The crazy thing about this car is that Lexus plans to offer this car in the US for a limited 2 year lease at a "To be determined later" monthly price. Lexus is doing this to thwart speculators who might garage untouched cars for later sale or resell them immediately at wildly inflated prices (which is thinking outside of the box).

If you are fortunate to be able to afford this piece of art, you will be able have your car built to order and choose from over 30 custom paint jobs (sweet). Plans for the by-hand creation of only 20 LFAs per month for 25 consecutive months will yield a total production run of 500 vehicles, a scant 150 of which will reach America. Deliveries are set to commence early in 2011. To find out more about the Lexus LFA click here

SO FRESH KICKS- Nike Blazer Hi Vintage, Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar, Adidas Highrise

It is time for us to spotlight some of the dope kicks that are surfacing all over the place. Today we have 2 from NIKE and one from Adidas.

First we have the Nike Blazer Hi Vintage

These Nikes are constructed  completely from grey suede with the exception of the swoosh and the heel. The swoosh and the heel are constructed from white leather. The tongue and the base (mid sole) have been " yellowed. Definitely an old school feel.

Next up the Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar

These also have an old school feel to them and I am sure there are sneaker heads out there who know all about the evolution of this shoe (bear with me I am a sneaker head in training).  According to the great guys over at Nicekicks.com this is how the show is described:

Nubuck covers the toe, midfoot and is also found near the collar. A synthetic material fills out the remainder of the upper, but it is the aforementioned Flywire that is the highlight of this new silhouette. The threaded technical material can be found on both the lateral and medial sides. For fans of the thick tongue no longer found on the SB Dunks, this shoe allows you to remove the padding and replace it with just about anything.

Last but not least...the Adidas Highrise

The Highrise Sneaker features premium leather uppers, with a snakeskin print embossed on the toe-box and side and heel panels, suede detail around the hidden eyelets to the toe, high ankle and back heel strap, mesh fabric tongue panel and interior with a rubber sole. (per Karmaloop.com )

Hopefully we have given you lil sumthin to feed your sneaker addiction for now! Shout out to Nicekicks.com

THROWBACK VIDEO OF THE DAY- MOKENSTEF "HE'S MINE"

Hip-Hop Since 1991!!!

The time was 1991 I was a sophomore in High School, and Hip-Hop was a major part of my life. This was a time when Hip-hop as a culture was becoming a mainstay in America. We were feeling good about ourselves and the whole “fight the power movement” was something that all Black people felt proud to be apart of. We were proud to promote HBCU’s (Historically Black College’s & Universities) Hip-Hop fashion was at its beginning phases, and we as a people were happy to have fashion that we can call our own. We looked to Rap videos (and we still do to this day) to see the latest fashion, and trends. Growing up in Shady Ville (Queens Village) Queens I was surrounded by rap artist like Run-DMC, Craig G, Ja-Rule and a host of other DJ’s and producers.

And then it happened.

A good friend of mine, Craig G put me on to a clothing line that changed the face of Hip-Hop it was called African American College Alliance. This company was one of the first to feature HBCU’s as the face of their clothing line. You would see your favorite rappers from: Grand Puba, EPMD, Redman, Biz Marke, and Craig G rocking your favorite HBCU sweater. The revolution had begun, and I was hooked. I remember the first hoodie I ever rocked, it was the “Grambling State University” hoodie in red, black and green. Once I bought one I had to get another, and another until I had a dope collection of AACA sweaters. It was a good 2-year run for AACA and then just like that they were gone.

So in my do diligence I did some research and I found them, and reached out to them. I spoke to Dave who is in charge of marketing & sales, and we had a dope conversation about the company and it’s mission to bring this “vintage urban” college sweater line back to the forefront. I asked Dave “where have you guys been?” and he responded, “Working on new marketing strategies, today is there is talk of a new era. And perhaps it is. We have a new Black President and we are now a mainstay in politics, commerce, and culture. We are winning right now and we can’t be stopped. In order for us to truly win we cannot forget the lessons that we have learned in the past eras as we look forward, and march forward in this new era. It is important for us not to forget what 1991 meant to hip-hop, and to the black community. It is important for us Gate keepers of “Real Hip-Hop” to not let (us) forget what it means to have a whole movement on our back.” And with that said I now present to you the re-launch of African American College Alliance.
